This year seems to be the year for high profile exhibitions on the Greeks and the Romans. For starters, here are the ones I know about:
Pompeii: In The Shadow of the Volcano at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada.
The Greeks: Agamemnon to Alexander the Great at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec.
Defining Beauty: The Body in Ancient Greek Art at the British Museum in London, UK.
And, in honour of its 6th anniversary celebrations, the Akropolis Museum in Athens, Greece has mounted Samothrace: The Mysteries of the Great Gods.
